Parking Enforcement
From 7th September 2021 the Team began enforcing ‘on road’ parking restrictions in the Poynton area. This includes restrictions on waiting, loading and unloading at specific times and illegal parking within restricted and designated areas. Vehicles found parked in contravention of parking restrictions a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued under the Traffic Management Act 2004. Fines associated with Penalty Charge Notices are set at £50 and £70.
Please be aware of the parking restrictions.
Council Community Support Team Surgery -Thursday 30th September, 10am-12pm
The Council Community Support Team are happy to inform residents of Poynton that the next Community Support Team Surgery will be taking place at the ‘Acoustic Lounge’ on Park Lane, on Thursday 30th September, 10am – 12.00 midday. Feel free to go along and meet the Team.
Stockport County Youth Engagement Football Coaching, new dates and change of venue
Poynton Town Council’s Community Support Team in conjunction with Stockport County and Cheshire East are extremely excited to announce new winter dates for the Poynton Youth Engagement Sessions.
Stockport Community Trust will be providing FREE football coaching for young people aged 10-17yrs. The 1st of the weekly sessions is Wednesday 6th October, 6pm-7pm at Poynton Sports Club.
