The Town Council is responsible for ten AEDs which are situated in the old BT phone boxes around the Town and Higher Poynton. This includes weekly checks by the Council Community Support Team and regular cleaning of the phone boxes by the Village Ranger.

From time to time the Town Council supports the emergency First Responders and North West Ambulance Service to deliver AED training to the local community. Future training dates will be posted here.
