Poynton Goes Green - Eco Fair

Published: 22 March 2022

There’s something for everyone at the Poynton Goes Green Eco-Fair! Poynton Town Council are pleased to be supporting Poynton High School, who are organising an eco-fair on Saturday 30th April, 10am – 1pm at Poynton Civic Hall. Entry is free!

Poynton High School students are encouraging Poynton residents to be more eco-friendly and will offer suggestions for alternative environmentally friendly swaps. There will also be the opportunity to purchase products from local businesses and receive lots of advice too.

ANSA will be offering advice on how to ‘love food; hate waste; Coppice Road Allotments will be hosting a seedling/plant swop, so bring along any seedlings in a labelled pot– it doesn’t matter whether it’s veg or flowers. The National Trust, Scoop and Scales and Eco-Attic will also be there.

Find out about Poynton’s newly planted community orchards, a fabulous initiative to recycle crisp packets, how to garden for wildlife and find out how you can support Poynton’s Pollinator Project!
