SCAM WARNING

It has been brought to our attention that there is a scam post going around on local Facebook sites, promoting a craft market at the Civic Hall. The person asks for potential stallholders to send money to Paypal to pay for a stand at the market, allegedly taking place on July 6th and 7th this year.
These scams have become more prevalent on social media in the last year and are very convincing. If you are not sure if a post is legitimate, call the venue directly to check they have an
event on before engaging. Do not send money to anybody online before checking the source.
