The full Town
Council meets at least four times each year including the annual meeting which
takes place in May. During the annual meeting the Town Council also appoints a
Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the Civic Year. The Town Council has appointed
committees to effectively manage its different responsibilities.
The Town Council is funded from income received from hiring the Civic Hall and an annual precept as part of the Council Tax.
