Residents and Business may have noticed that Britannia Parking on behalf of Waitrose is currently issuing warning notices in the short stay section of the Civic Centre car park where people are parking for longer than the 2 hours allowed. The Car Park at the Civic Centre is owned by Cheshire East but the short stay section is leased to Waitrose.

The Town Council is aware that there is considerable anxiety regarding possible enforcement of the short stay car park and we are currently in the process of assessing how residents and businesses have been impacted.
