The Café is open most Friday afternoons at Poynton Civic Hall. You are welcome to stay for the full two hours or pop in when you can.
There are times when the Café is closed so it’s always best to check first by contacting the Civic Hall on 01625 872238.
The café is run by volunteers who provide a guaranteed warm and friendly welcome, refreshments and a chat. The volunteers also provide activities such as a game of bingo, dominoes or colouring activity, although if you simply want to socialise with others in a friendly environment, that’s perfectly fine!
The volunteers aren’t able to take responsibility for those attending the café. If you or a loved one attending the café require any support, please bring a friend or carer who is able to offer the support needed.
We ask for a small donation to cover the cost of tea, coffee, cake and biscuits.
Occasionally our local PCSO’s or Poynton Town Council’s Community Support Team drop-in to say hello, and it’s an opportunity to find out about other services and groups in the area too.
