Poynton’s annual Christmas Fest, has become a firm fixture in the village’s social diary.

A number of Park Lane retailers had late night opening and there was BBQs and festive food and drink.
Poynton Round Table brought Father Christmas on his sleigh and a cups and saucers children's roundabout was in the Farmers Arms car park. The Fest is organised by a small band of volunteers, Projects 4 Poynton.
This popular community event has always offered something for all the family. In previous years this has included a bird of prey display, pony rides, a novelty pet dog competition, the Poynton Youth Brass Band and other live bands, a Town Crier, the Adlington Morris Men, market stalls selling local produce, gifts and plants, a tombola, ferret racing, children’s attractions, a clown, and plenty more besides.
